Packing Series — Playa Mujeres, Mexico

A trip booked 10 days out to Playa Mujeres, Mexico — a self imposed challenge — we're travelling with carry on suitcases only. Every piece I pack needs to have versatility and flexibility. I'm so here for this.

I've packed one linen blazer and 4 pairs of linen shorts, with either a tank or bodysuit to wear with each. So simple, light weight and a blazer over the shoulders elevates everything.

An easy change after a day of travelling, a striped linen shirt with white shorts for night one dinner then becomes day time cover up pieces going forward. Then I'll switch to the tonal short / tank / blazer combos for dinners. In theory it's going to work just great — I'll update once we're home ha!

Three swimsuits to alternate through all pair well with a linen cover up, linen shorts or the scarf I'm using as a wrap — 

Add in an extra pair of linen pants, my favorite 3 piece lounge set + a matching tank and that covers morning coffee runs and evening comfy clothes. Sail short | shirt | pants

I'll travel in sneakers and will most likely wear a tank, lodge shorts in light birch and a cardigan for easy comfy layers on the plane. We're travelling out of Alberta so it's still chilly heading to the airport here. A Gucci scarf in brown similar to the visual, but in this fabric will act as a plane throw as well as shawl if anyone needs it in the air conditioning for dinners.
