Four pieces catching my eye plus four pieces in my closet I'm loving now —
Four tops that make ease look good — and that's the best thing ever! Pieces that as we move into September are great for a little warmth and carry you through the winter as perfect layers. Clean lines, classic shapes, perfect.
I love jackets, plain and simple. You'll have noticed my style is a collection of basics, and there is nothing easier than adding a great jacket over an easy top. Two jackets I've added to my wardrobe this season are the Oculus Jacket and the Esquire Short Trench Coat. I've been able to wear them already with a few days of rain and cooler temps and I'm a huge fan. The trench has this classic ease, I love it undone and a little less structured. The Oculus jacket is lovely either zipped up or unzipped. When it is fully zipped it has a great blousy feel and the weight of it is a little substantial. It feels great on.
For the past few winters and all winter long I wear the Bare Cashmere Bloor Sweater and this fall they came out with it in a wool version. It's light and comfortable with the perfect little bit of intentional slouch. These are the type of basics I tend to buy in multiple colors because I know they will be the first thing I reach for.
