Oh spring, you really are just a dream. There have been a few conversations lately about favorite seasons, and my first instinct was definitely summer, and then wait no, fall - I love the season of adding a cozy sweater and the crisp fall mornings. But truth is here in Alberta we switch pretty quickly from those crisp fall mornings to a first snow. So that got me thinking spring.. we are full of hope and optimism as the sun starts shining longer and sits higher in the sky, the light gains warmth and we feel the need to get outside - so I think spring's winning..
Recipes start getting lighter and full of fresh vegetables, beverages get a little spritz, lemons sit in a bowl on the counter and color makes us happy. The days start to get longer and we create new habits and feel a renewed sense of self care. Creating little moments that bring joy are so important and I love little collections that do just that. This weeks Friday Finds center around little moments - a sweet platter and plates for spring and summer dinners, a votive to light on rainy days, denim with a slight slouch and cropped length, curvy glass lines for fresh flowers and a woven tote that looks as great on the entry hook as it does running errands with you!
