Apparently it’s been a whirlwind short week after our Thanksgiving long weekend if I’m just getting around to posting pictures now! We had such a lovely holiday, we hosted 17 for dinner, and I was so thankful that family travelled from Spruce Grove and Edmonton as well as here in Calgary to come and spend it with us.
For the table I used whatever I could find around the house to make the table large enough for all the adults. I paired one of our Restoration Hardware desks with the table, brought in an weathered outdoor teak bench and layered a few Ikea sheepskins on it. A mix match of chairs and ottomans provided enough seating! I simply used brown craft paper as a table runner, added some white pumpkins and twinkle lights from Restoration Hardware. So simple, pretty and easy clean up.. although I didn’t want to take it apart! The kids table had the same craft paper that they were to write what they were thankful for on :)
As I was cooking dinner I had the craziest surprise of being tagged by the incredible Jillian Harris in her Thanksgiving table setting post.. wow.. year made! Thanks Jillian!
